Ms. Nomachi

Welcome to Venice!

Ms. Nomachi has been teaching the Japanese Language and Culture classes, levels one through four in the Venice High School World Languages/Global Studies Magnet since 1992. She enjoys seeing the progression of the students learning the Japanese Language and becoming comfortable with a culture different from their own. She hopes that the students will use their experience with learning another language and culture to help them grow to be global citizens who will make a difference in the world.

She currently sponsors the Japanese Club and co-sponsors the WLGS Student Council. She is also the proud coach of the Venice High School Japan Bowl Teams, who are the 2015 California State Regional Japan Bowl, Level Three-2nd place team and the Level Four-3rd place team. Go Gondos!

She also serves as the Lead Teacher for the World Languages/Global Studies Magnet.
