Engineering Pathway

Engineering Curriculum by year

  1. Introduction to Engineering Design (IED): Students use 3D solid modeling design software to design solutions to solve proposed problems.

  2. Principles of Engineering (POE): Students will investigate engineering and high tech careers and employ engineering and scientific concepts in the solution of engineering design problems.

  3. Computer Science Principles (CSP): Students will learn the basics of coding in a variety of programming languages including Python, HTML, and NetLogo, and learn how to make apps for Android devices.

  4. Engineering Design and Development (EDD): EDD serves as the capstone engineering course in which students work in teams to identify a real-life problem that they would like to fix, then design and develop an original solution by applying an engineering design process.
