Biliteracy Awards Night

Tuesday, May 23, 2017

3-5 p.m., Mark Twain Middle School Auditorium

Please come join us as we honor our local elementary, middle and high school students who are receiving District and state seals of biliteracy. Eighty-seven Venice High School Class of ’17 seniors have proven their proficiency in English and the LOTE (language other than English) that they’ve mastered in the past 4 years of dedicated study.  Some are even getting a seal in two LOTE’s!

Our bilingual and multilingual seniors have made a brief film where they answer the question, “How does language connect us?” in the languages that they’ve been studying at Venice.

See you on Tuesday, May 23!
