For me, Venice High School is more than just a place where I work.  I love this school and I am personally committed to this school.  I was born into the Venice Gondo family.  My father, my siblings and I all graduated from Venice High.  Now my three children have all graduated from Venice High. I am, or have been, a stakeholder of Venice High in every way - as a student, an alumnus, a parent, a community member and a staff member.  After graduating from UCLA, I taught at Belmont High for many years until I joined the Venice faculty in 2000.  It feels like I'm back home.

I teach mathematics in the Venice World Languages and Global Studies Magnet.  Students may come in for help at lunch except for Thursdays.  I am the sponsor of the Christian Club which meets every Thursday at lunch in my room.

I believe Venice High is the best high school on the Westside and it is my hope that each student who attends Venice High will have a positive educational experience.
