Mr. Chew

Randall Chew

I have been teaching for at Venice  since 2001.  This is my 27th  year teaching.  I taught at Van Nuys High School in the Math Science Magnet  before coming to Venice.  I really enjoy teaching in the community I live in. It is so nice to see the students I have had an influence on in the community. I really believe that Venice is a great school.  I am not only faculty, but am also a parent of Venice Students. Our whole family believes  in Venice High School. I have sent all my children here.  My wife  is  Venice Alumni and Faculty.
My kids really benefited from their educational experience at Venice.  Two of our kids went to UCLA and the third went to  UC Irvine. A lot of Venice teachers send their kids here because we all know what a great school it is.
I   teach real world applications of math, so  students can   apply what they learn to their life.
I  coached 17  High School tennis teams.  It is so nice to see my former players at the tennis courts.  I have helped them develop  a passion for a life sport that I love.
