Mission: Ensure that students are effective users of ideas and information. Our collection of print and electronic resources supports students’ success in school and fosters lifelong learning.

Collection and e-Resources: The Library has 36 computers dedicated for school assignments with desktop shortcut icons for the Venice High School Library that include links to the library's catalog as well as LAUSD digital library, Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL), and County of Los Angeles Library resources. The Library’s collection contains approximately 26,000 print volumes.

Library Hours: Mon – Thurs 7:30 am – 4:30 pm

                          Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

Library Pass: Students with a Library Pass from their classroom teacher may use the library during class time for independent study, as space permits. The Library is open also before school, during nutrition and lunch for student use, and after school.

Tutoring: Math tutors available in the Library before and after school; see schedule below. Funding provided by the Boys & Girls Club and special funds.

Math Tutoring: M, W, Th, F 6:45 – 7:45 am

                          M, W, Th     3:15 – 4:15 pm (Fridays am only)
